Job summary

California State University, San Bernardino's Library Information Technology (LIT) Student Assistants provide basic technology support and customer service to library users and staff. They staff the makerspace and maintain hardware, software, and equipment in Pfau Library, working under the Systems and Discovery Librarian and ITS Technology Consultants.

As CSUSB students, you will gain hands-on experience with Windows and Macintosh environments, and contribute to workshops and tours while

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in CSUSB at least half-time (6 undergraduate units; 3 graduate units) per semester.
• Maintain a 2.0 GPA or greater per semester and cumulatively.
• Eligible to work in the United States and have a Social Security Card.
• Must have a federal need and submit all requested financial aid documentation.

Responsibilities

• Staff library makerspaces.
• Contribute to makerspace workshops and tours.
• Maintain and troubleshoot library technology.
• Assist the LIT department as assigned.
