The University of Louisville Library is seeking a Library Assistant I to assist patrons at the public service desk and support access to online information tools. You will interact directly with patrons and help them access research databases and other information resources.

Responsibilities include issuing library cards, guiding users in computer and equipment use, handling inquiries via email/phone, and maintaining patron records.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED and up to two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with library systems and customer service is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patrons at the public service desk and help with accessing research databases and online tools.
• Process library cards and handle inquiries via email and telephone.
• Instruct in-person patrons on using computers, scanners, and photocopiers.
• Support interlibrary loan and maintain accurate patron records.
