The Daniel Boone Regional Library is seeking a frontline Circulation/Reference assistant to guide patrons in selecting reading materials and information resources. You will borrow, reserve, and return items, assist with catalog and databases, and help plan programs for all ages.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 48 hours minimum college credit preferred.
• Previous library experience preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Check out library materials to patrons and manage catalog entries.
• Provide reference and information services using print materials and databases.
• Assist patrons with the library’s catalog and online resources.
• Plan and present programs for all ages as needed.
• Maintain public bulletin boards and assist with statistics.
• Identify damaged materials and perform shelf reads with staff.
