UNAM Foundation seeks a Library Assistant: User Services at the University of Namibia Ogongo Campus. The role involves providing circulation and technical services, reference assistance, and contributing to collection and stack management.

Evening and weekend duties are scheduled as needed. A Diploma in Library and Information Studies with at least 3 years of library experience is required to qualify.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Library and Information Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a library environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform circulation and technical services.
• Render reference instruction to all users.
• Provide quality information and reference services.
• Contribute to collection management and stack management.
• Ensure and enforce the security of library materials, market library facilities, services and resources.
• Perform duties during evenings and over weekends as scheduled and perform any other duties as may be required.
