Responsibilities

• Guard and protect university and library property with high intrinsic or monetary value.
• Respond to and follow up on all safety/incident issues within library buildings.
• Act as a deterrent to criminal activity by routinely patrolling library buildings.
• Work a flexible shift schedule: Sunday 12:45 p.m.–9:15 p.m.; Monday through Thursday 3:15 p.m.–12:15 a.m.; cover day shifts as needed.
• During the last week of instruction and finals, work extended hours and consecutive days, including graveyard shifts.
• Complete incident reports, including hypothetical scenarios during the interview process.
