The University Libraries at UCF invites applications for Library Technical Assistant II in Orlando. This on-site role oversees shelving and maintenance in the Automated Retrieval Center and open stacks, manages daily scheduling and student supervision, and attends to the Access Services Department desk.

Responsibilities include operating the circulation system, assisting patrons, handling fines and lost materials payments, and performing physically active duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of materials in the Automated Retrieval Center (ARC) and open stacks, including sorting, shelving, bin auditing, shelf reading, and shifting collections as needed.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student assistants performing ARC and stacks tasks.
• Operate the access services desk as needed and ensure smooth department operations; assist patrons with circulation and directional services.
