Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science is required.
• Licensed by NCDPI as a school library media coordinator (076).
• Knowledge of North Carolina standards and AASL standards for the 21st Century Learner.
• Ability to use data to drive decisions and improve library services.
• Experience planning long-range library media programs and budgets.

• Models and coaches teachers in literacy, research, and digital citizenship.
• Empowers students as readers, writers, and creators in a collaborative learning environment.
• Builds partnerships to enhance teaching and learning in the library media center.

• Designs and implements plans for digital learning and NC Digital Learning competencies.
• Organizes the media center to maximize access to resources and fosters equity.
• Maintains data-driven reports for inventory and program effectiveness.
