Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science required.
• Licensed by NCDPI as a school library media coordinator (076).
• Knowledge of NC Standards and library media terminology.
• Ability to develop budgets and manage data/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Align teaching with NC standards and information literacy skills.
• Coach and collaborate with teachers on inquiry-based learning and digital citizenship.
• Lead professional development in literacy, digital learning, and resource access.
• Use data-driven decision making to improve teaching and learning with media programs.
• Organize the media center to maximize access to resources.
• Prepare and submit reports for the NCDLMI and inventories.
