Job summary

Columbus Metropolitan Library is looking for a Materials Services Associate to manage the processing and distribution of library materials. The role involves accurate shelving, organizing materials, and providing customer assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age (work permit required for minors).
• Ability to pass an alphabetic and numeric sorting and filing test required.
• Ability to operate library technology including personal computer and software programs.

Responsibilities

• Processes and sorts materials accurately and efficiently.
• Sorts and shelves library materials, maintaining shelves throughout the location.
• Supports location’s customer service plan by proactively greeting customers.
