The role oversees library faculty and staff, budgets and contracts, and collaborations with faculty, IT, and external partners to advance access to information, equity, and academic achievement.

Qualifications

• MLS/MLIS from an American Library Association-accredited program.
• Minimum of five years of professional library experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience directing library operations, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
• Experience supervising employees and managing staff development.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse campus stakeholders to support instruction and student success.
• Experience using data to inform decision-making and library assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for library services, collections, and learning resources.
• Oversee budgeting, contracts, licensing, vendor relationships, and resource management.
• Lead and develop library faculty and staff; foster an inclusive, service-oriented culture.
• Build partnerships with faculty, IT, and community organizations to advance information literacy and open educational resources.
