Job summary

Qualifications

• MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program
• At least five years in academic libraries with leadership/management experience
• Experience directing library operations, budgets, and strategic initiatives
• Experience supervising and developing staff
• Experience managing electronic resources, library systems, vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic planning for library services, facilities, and initiatives
• Oversee acquisition, organization, and access to library resources and systems
• Manage budgets, contracts, licensing, and vendor relationships
• Lead recruitment, evaluation, and professional development of library staff
• Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and community partners to advance information literacy and student success
• Ensure compliance, assessment, data-informed decision-making, and equity in access to information
