Pierce County Library is seeking a Customer Experience Assistant for Lakewood/Tillicum locations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, assisting patrons with library accounts, technology access, and readers’ advisory services.

The position involves basic reference support, hardware/software help for public tech, materials processing, and assisting with displays and events. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree in a related field.
• Two years public library/customer service experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers high-quality, customer-focused services to diverse customers of all ages.
• Assists customers in gaining access to library accounts, technology, and readers’ advisory services.
• Provides basic reference and readers’ advisory assistance in person, online and other formats.
• Provides hardware and software support for customer-accessed technologies and helps with databases and ebooks.
• Processes, sorts, and shelves library materials and maintains displays and bulletin boards.
• Acts as Person In Charge as delegated or scheduled and supports program activities.
