Pierce County Library System is seeking a Regular Full-Time Customer Experience Associate to deliver high-quality service at assigned locations. You’ll assist patrons with library accounts, tech help, and readers’ advisory, while supporting daily circulation tasks and basic reference duties.

U.S. workers with an Associate’s Degree and 2+ years of public library experience are encouraged to apply; evening and weekend shifts may be required, with overtime eligibility for non-exempt roles and

Competenze

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of public library or customer service experience.
Ability to pass background screening and work evenings/weekends if required.
Proficiency with basic office software and library systems.

Mansioni

Provide high-quality customer service to diverse patrons at assigned locations.
Assist with library accounts, technology access, and readers’ advisory services.
Support circulation tasks: check in/out materials, holds, and card registration.
Offer basic reference assistance and help patrons navigate databases and e-resources.
Maintain displays and promotional materials; assist with program support.
Escalate issues to supervisors and participate in project teams as needed.
