Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned work areas for safety issues.
• Report and correct safety issues in work areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and wash windows.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Set up, arrange, and remove chairs, tables, or decorations for meetings and events.
• Maintain outdoor library premises by picking up trash, watering plants, shoveling snow, and applying ice melt.
• Restock disposable items in restrooms, break rooms, and kitchens.
• Service restrooms by cleaning toilets, sinks, and changing tables.
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive environment during meetings and events.
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
• Fill and empty chemical bottles.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Cover shifts for other custodians.
