Job summary

The California State University is seeking a Circulation Desk & Student Technology Resources Coordinator at the San José campus. The role leads Circulation, STR, and Course Reserves service desks, hires and trains student assistants, and collaborates with IT to manage circulating technology.

You will monitor budgets, develop policies, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining accurate usage statistics and supporting access to library resources for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides planning, organization, leadership for Circulation, STR, and Course Reserves service desk.
• Develops, updates policies and workflows for Circulation and STR operations.
• Trains library staff and supervises student assistants.
• Monitors annual student assistant budgeting and staffing levels.
• Interacts with IT to maintain circulating technology inventory.
