Job summary

North Greenville University is seeking a Circulation Assistant for the Tigerville campus library. You will help keep the Circulation desk staffed, assist patrons with borrowing items, and coordinate with staff on daily operations.

The role requires strong customer service, effective communication, and the ability to learn library systems. This full-time position supports the library and broader campus community in a Christian university setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or the equivalent.
• Desire to provide outstanding service to library patrons.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn library management system and electronic resources.
• Able to establish productive working relationships with staff and patrons.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the library according to the schedule.
• Check in/out library materials and maintain records.
• Assist patrons in person, by phone and email with library information.
• Direct patrons to the appropriate staff for assistance.
• Assist in training and scheduling work-study staff.
