Library Systems & Services, LLC is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Library Circulation Clerk for the Huntsville Public Library in Huntsville, TX. This entry-level role supports the library at the circulation desk, delivering excellent customer service and helping patrons with checkouts, accounts, and policy guidance.

The position requires flexibility to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends, with responsibilities spanning registrations, fines processing, materials

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Two years library experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of library systems and databases preferred.
• Ability to work a schedule including days, evenings and weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• English/Spanish speaking a plus.

Responsabilités

• Welcomes and registers patrons; issues library cards; checks in/out materials; manages patron accounts.
• Assists patrons with locating materials or using the reference desk, computers, and self-check-out.
• Checks in and processes library materials as needed.
• Accepts and processes fines, fees, or other payments.
• Shelves library materials and may support library programs.
• May handle opening/closing duties and daily cash reports.
