Job summary

Fayetteville Public Library in Fayetteville, AR seeks an AV Support Technician to provide professional audiovisual support for events and rentals. You will set up, operate, and tear down AV equipment, working with staff and clients to ensure smooth programs.

Qualifications

• High school or GED, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with an AV production team or events setup crew (1-2 years).
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, run and strike AV equipment for events.
• Operate AV gear for live streaming of library programs indoors and outdoors.
• Provide excellent customer service to patrons and clients; respond to requests professionally.
• Respond to AV support tickets and document issues; assist in hardware/software installations.
• Maintain equipment in like-new condition.
• Assist in training new staff and orienting new personnel.
