Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related coursework preferred.
• Five+ years in live sound, event production, audio recording, or related field.
• Experience operating professional audio systems for live events.
• Experience training or guiding others in AV practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead audio engineer for library events including concerts and talks.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and strike audio equipment.
• Provide front-of-house and monitor engineering services.
• Coordinate technical requirements with stakeholders and vendors.
• Train staff and volunteers on AV operations and safety practices.
• Troubleshoot AV, computer, cabling, and networking issues during events.
