The position requires an Associate's degree or equivalent library experience, strong computer skills, and excellent English communication. It is a part-time, day-shift role with duties including cataloging, member assistance, and program support.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training in a library setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience with computer input and labeling.
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Supervise volunteers and coordinate schedules.
• Assist members in finding information and materials and answer questions.
• Enter library materials into the online catalog and update records.
• Assist with inventory and upkeep of library materials and displays.
• Open and close library procedures and handle routine clerical tasks.
• Operate basic office equipment and provide excellent customer service.
