Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; some college credits or associate degree preferred.
• Praxis, Work Keys or Master Teacher test accepted, or 60 college credits.
• Valid Arizona DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance card is required.
• Experience in a library setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Library Media Teacher or supervisor in the operation of the library.
• Shelve, circulate, distribute, and process books and other resources.
• Keep circulation records, including fines for overdue/damaged materials.
• Monitor and maintain acceptable student behavior.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and attractive library environment.
• Assist students and staff in locating materials.
• Participate in organizing Book Fairs.
• Mend and repair books and other resources.
• Prepare periodic statistical reports.
