The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking a Library Assistant III – Second Shift to support the Eugene McDermott Library during the busiest hours. This role runs Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM, and serves patrons, students, and colleagues across public service areas.

Summary:
The Library Assistant III – Second Shift plays a vital role in supporting the busiest hours of operation at the Eugene McDermott Library. This position covers the second shift, Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and serves as a primary resource for patrons, student workers, and colleagues across multiple public service areas. This shift sees the highest volume of foot traffic, service transactions, and student engagement, requiring a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused individual.
The role ensures high-quality public service, supports student supervision, maintains equipment and building functionality, and upholds library policy during peak usage hours.
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a library setting; or any comparable combination of education and practical experience may be considered.

Schedule:
