Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and previous library experience required.
• One year of customer service experience required.
• Flexibility in scheduling is required

Responsibilities

• Promote ACPL’s values and mission.
• Follow and enforce established library policies and procedures.
• Assist patrons with reference interactions and reader advisory.
• Help maintain and weed library collections.
• Create promotional material for programs and services.
• Assist with opening and closing the library.
• Plan, prepare and present programs for groups of children.
• Assist with Self Check out and circulation tasks.
• Answer phones and route calls to staff.
• Develop eye-catching displays and maintain a welcoming library environment.
