American Modern Insurance Group is seeking a Liability Claims Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the investigation and resolution of complex, non-litigated property damage and bodily injury claims related to our specialty insurance products. This position is remote.

What You'll Do:
- Analyze, investigate, and assess policy coverage applicability.
- Conduct investigative activities, including securing recorded statements, obtaining relevant documentation, and utilizing experts and independent adjusters.
- Investigate and document damages, following established claims processes.
- Evaluate and negotiate settlements for bodily injury and property damage claims.
- Ensure compliance with state-mandated requirements.
- Identify and refer potential fraud, salvage, subrogation, or litigation issues.
- Manage external vendors to handle claims efficiently and control expenses.
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of liability claims handling experience.
- Experience with claims systems, applications, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong research and investigative skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to change.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of insurance and medical terminology.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Analytical abilities to review and analyze data.
- Industry-related training such as AIC, CPCU, or SCLA.
