American Modern Insurance Group is seeking a Liability Claims Specialist to oversee the investigation and resolution of complex property damage and bodily injury claims from our specialty insurance products. What You'll Do:

1. Analyze, investigate, and assess coverage applicability.
2. Conduct investigative activities, including securing statements and documentation.
3. Investigate and document damages following claims processes.
4. Evaluate and negotiate settlements.
5. Ensure compliance with state requirements.
6. Identify potential fraud, salvage, subrogation, or litigation issues.
7. Manage external vendors to handle claims efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Five or more years of liability claims handling experience.
• Experience with claims systems, applications, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong investigative and research skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, adaptable to change.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a team environment.
• Knowledge of insurance and medical terminology.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Industry training such as AIC, CPCU, or SCLA preferred.
• Applicants requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible.
