American Modern Insurance Group is seeking a Liability Claims Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will oversee the investigation and resolution of complex, non-litigated property damage and bodily injury claims from our specialty insurance products. What You'll Do:

  1. Analyze, investigate, and assess policy coverage applicability.
  2. Conduct investigative activities, including securing statements, obtaining documentation, and utilizing experts and adjusters.
  3. Investigate and document damages following established claims processes.
  4. Evaluate and negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys.
  5. Ensure compliance with state regulations.
  6. Identify and refer potential fraud, salvage, subrogation, or litigation issues.
  7. Manage external vendors to handle claims effectively while controlling costs.

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Have five or more years of liability claims handling experience.
  • Are familiar with claims systems, applications, and Microsoft Office.
  • Possess strong research and investigative skills.
  • Are self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to change.
  • Can work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Have a good understanding of insurance and medical terminology.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Have proven analytical abilities to review data.
  • Possess industry-related training or coursework such as AIC, CPCU, or SCLA.
  • Note: Applicants requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.
