American Modern Insurance Group is seeking a Liability Claims Specialist to join our team. This remote position involves overseeing the investigation and resolution of complex property damage and bodily injury claims from our specialty insurance products.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing and investigating coverage applicability under policies.
• Conducting investigative activities, securing statements, obtaining documentation, and utilizing experts and adjusters.
• Documenting damages and managing claims processes.
• Negotiating settlements with claimants and attorneys.
• Ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Identifying potential fraud, salvage, subrogation, or litigation issues.
• Managing external vendors to handle claims efficiently and control costs.

Ideal candidates will have:

• At least five years of liability claims handling experience.
• Experience with claims systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong research, investigative, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivation, results orientation, and adaptability.
• Understanding of insurance and medical terminology.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Industry training such as AIC, CPCU, or SCLA.
