Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a diligent Case Manager to support attorneys in developing settlements, preparing documents, and maintaining client communications. The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced law firm environment.

You will interact with clients, providers, and insurance carriers, manage multiple deadlines, and ensure accurate documentation from intake through closing with attorney guidance. On-site work is required to immerse in the team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred.
• At least 2 years in a legal position or insurance adjuster preferred.
• Ability to work in a team, follow procedures and multitask under pressure.
• Proactive interaction with clients, insurers and medical providers.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with existing and potential clients via phone and in person.
• Order medical records and communicate with clients and providers during treatment.
• Gather documents to support injury or liability positions.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to obtain records and balances.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and reduce outstanding medical balances with providers.
• Collaborate with coworkers to manage case files and maintain organized records.
• Prepare comprehensive demands and support submissions to carriers.
• Present case synopses to attorneys when required.
• Manage case files from intake to closing under attorney direction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
