Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Case Manager to join our legal team in a highly organized, multi-tasking role. You will assist attorneys in developing settlements, preparing documents and correspondence as needed. The ideal candidate is customer focused and empathetic.

Responsibilities include client interactions, obtaining records, and coordinating with providers and insurers to support case positions. Remote/hybrid work is not eligible; strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or Prelitigation Paralegal strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years in a legal position or insurance adjuster experience strongly preferred.
• Strong team player, able to follow procedures.
• Proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies and medical providers.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Extensive computer and database expertise: Word, Excel, Outlook, 35 wpm.
• Remote and/or hybrid not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with existing and potential clients via phone or in person.
• Order medical records and communicate with clients/providers during treatment.
• Obtain documents to support injury/liability positions.
• Interact with insurers and healthcare providers to secure records and balances.
• Work with coworkers to manage case files and maintain organization.
• Prepare demands and submissions for carriers under attorney supervision.
• Present case synopsis to attorneys when required.
• Manage case files from intake to closing under attorney direction.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
