Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our team in a fast-paced legal environment. You will support attorneys by developing settlements, preparing documents, and maintaining organized case files.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, empathetic, and able to handle a varied caseload with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include client communication, medical records coordination, and negotiation with insurers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a legal role or insurance adjuster experience preferred.
• Prior experience as Personal Injury Case Manager preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and follow procedures.
• Proactive in interactions with clients, insurers and medical providers.
• Highly organized with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent writing skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook with fast typing.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with clients in person and by phone.
• Order medical records and coordinate with clients and providers.
• Gather documents to support injury/liability positions.
• Interact with insurers and healthcare providers to secure records and balances.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and providers.
• Collaborate with coworkers on case files and support.
• Maintain organized case files from intake to close.
• Prepare comprehensive demands for submission to carriers.
• Present case summaries to attorneys when required.
• Manage cases from intake to closing under attorney direction.
