Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Leveraged Finance Associate for a Fredericksburg, VA position. The role involves representing lenders and borrowers in commercial senior secured financings, with exposure to acquisition finance and private equity-backed deals.

You will draft and negotiate credit documents, advise on distressed matters, and collaborate with senior partners to deliver comprehensive counsel while contributing to client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leveraged finance experience at a law firm or financial institution.
• Experience representing both lenders and borrowers in financing matters.
• Familiarity with acquisition finance, PE-backed transactions, and private credit.
• Experience with credit agreements, security agreements, guaranty agreements, and UCC Article 9.
• Strong writing and drafting skills; excellent academic credentials.
• Licensed to practice law in Virginia, or eligible for admission.
• General corporate law experience is a plus.
