Job summary

Providence Swedish First Hill is seeking a Night Shift RN for the NICU Level IV to join our team in Seattle, WA. This full-time position features 12-hour shifts and 36-hour weeks, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires and a comprehensive benefits package that begins on day one.

Responsibilities include assessing and planning patient care, advocating for patients’ rights and dignity, and leading care teams while maintaining safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire
• 1 year Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, identifies appropriate nursing diagnoses, plans, implements and evaluates patients’ care.
• Advocates for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning.
• Facilitates learning for patient/families, nursing and healthcare team including students.
• Aligns practice with safety and quality; uses data and evidence to improve patient outcomes.
• Engages in ongoing professional development; practices to top of license within scope.
• Leads and coordinates teams; delegates and collaborates within inter-professional care team.
