Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Level IV NICU registered nurse for a full-time night shift from 7P to 7A. The 108-bed NICU provides advanced care with a large network of physicians and resources. This role offers strong teamwork and opportunities for growth within HCA Healthcare.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, formulate care plans, supervise licensed staff, and teach patients and families. Clear requirements include ADN/BSN, Texas RN license, 1 year NICU experience, STABLE, NRP,

Qualifications

ADN / BSN is required w/12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted
Must have one (1) year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care
Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources
Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
