Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Level IV NICU on a full-time night shift (7P-7A). You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and participate in care planning for critically ill neonates.

The role includes mentoring junior staff and integrating teaching into daily practice. Ideal candidates hold ADN/BSN with NICU experience, possess Texas RN or compact license, and are certified in STABLE, Neonatal Resuscitation, and PALS within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN is required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion.
• Texas RN license or compact license accepted.
• 1 year of recent Level III/IV NICU experience in acute care.
• STABLE and Neonate Resuscitation must be completed within specified timelines.
• PALS required; BCLS inside 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope and policies.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
