Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Level IV NICU to provide high‑quality, compassionate care in a 108‑bed unit. This full‑time night shift role offers opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team and the latest neonatal technologies.

The ideal candidate has an ADN/BSN and current Texas RN license, with NICU experience and required certifications to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a busy tertiary care setting. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN required with 12 months enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital).
• Texas RN license or compact license preferred.
• NICU nursing experience preferred; Level III/IV strongly preferred.
• STABLE and NRP and PALS are required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and direct patient care in NICU.
• Plan and evaluate care to optimize outcomes and resource use.
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope and policies.
• Incorporate teaching into all nursing practice.

Education

ADN/BSN enrollment and completion (Magnet Hospital)

Texas State RN license or compact license

STABLE certification

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
