Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Level 3 NICU Registered Nurse to join our team in Idaho Falls. The nurse will care for newborns immediately after birth and oversee infants in the NICU, troubleshooting NICU equipment, and coordinating with families on aftercare.

Responsibilities include performing neonatal assessments, teaching parents, and ensuring safety and high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. A valid Idaho RN license and NICU experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current valid RN license with the state of Idaho.
• Previous NICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for newborns immediately after birth and in the NICU.
• Oversee infant care and monitor NICU equipment.
• Educate parents on infant care, breastfeeding, hygiene and safety.
• Perform tests and evaluate results as directed by neonatology staff.
• Coordinate and communicate with care teams to ensure patient safety.
