Job summary

You will accompany a student to activities, help keep them on task, assist with personal hygiene, supervise in cafeteria, classroom, and playground, and perform related duties.

Qualifications

• Level II Special Education Associate (1:1) position.
• 7 hours per day, 176 days per year.
• Must be able to lift and assist with personal hygiene; mobility required.
• Must supervise students in cafeteria, classrooms, playground, and during patrol duties.
• Basic understanding of math, science, and reading/writing; ability to check student work.
• MANDT Training and Behavior Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accompany students to activities and keep them on task.
• Assist students with personal hygiene needs.
• Supervise students in cafeteria, classrooms, and playground; perform patrol duties.
• Utilize computer and typing skills for classroom tasks.
• Follow written and oral directions; other duties as assigned.
