OAC Technology, LLC. in New Hope, MN is seeking a Desktop Support Technician (Level 2) to troubleshoot and resolve complex client issues.

You will support, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot networks via phone, email, remote tools, and occasional onsite visits. The role emphasizes problem solving, independence, and strong customer service, with responsibilities including AD, DNS, DHCP, backups, and coordination with clients.

Qualifications

• College-level English required.
• 3+ years at an IT Managed Services Provider.
• 4+ years IT/Managed Services or IT Consulting experience.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Occasional evenings and weekends on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients by phone, email, and occasional onsite visits.
• Troubleshoot Windows Desktop & Server, Office, Networking, Firewalls, Linux.
• Support client systems remotely (70%), by phone/email (25%), or onsite (5%).
• Set up, configure and install servers and workstations at client locations.
• Maintain and monitor backup solutions for clients.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Suggest system improvements to meet industry best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
