Accenture in Plainview, NY is seeking a Desk Side Engineer - Level 2 for a 100% onsite role at the client location. Primary responsibilities include hands-on hardware support, onboarding new end users, and resolving incidents related to Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365.

You will respond to tickets via phone, email, or chat, manage hardware inventory, support remote workers, and coordinate asset shipping. A minimum of 3 years in deskside support and a HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Deskside Support experience, hardware troubleshooting, and first-call resolutions.
• Minimum 3 years imaging workstations, VPN/VDI support, and IT installs/moves/changes.
• Minimum 3 years asset inventory management in a corporate environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on desktop hardware support and basic network troubleshooting.
• Respond to tickets via phone/email/chat and own issue resolution.
• Image workstations, manage software deployments, and support VPN/VDI.
• Onboard new end users and manage hardware inventory.

Desk Side Engineer - Level 2

Responsibilities

• Perform work varying from phone/email support to project-based work.
• Respond to calls tickets and emails, troubleshooting reported issues in a helpdesk environment
• Answer tickets via phone, email, or chat and own resolution of all incidents requests to closure
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain desktop hardware and support of business applications
• Responsible for new End user Onboarding
• Provide Network connectivity troubleshooting and control room support
• Maintain hardware inventory in designated site pantry inventory management tools
• Ship and receive assets
• Support remote workforce, troubleshoot and diagnose root cause of issues to resolution

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Deskside Support Specialist (hardware configuration & support) troubleshooting Windows OS, Active Directory, O365 Suite of Applications, and first call resolutions while being able to multitask hardware related issues, including enterprise printer support.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in imaging workstations (desktops/laptops), providing VPN/VDI support, and performing Installs, Moves, Adds, & Changes.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with inventory management of corporate assets
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively & professionally with employees at all levels of the organization
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Experience working with ServiceNow ticketing system
• Call center support experience
• Bachelors or Associates degree
