Job description

Level 1 Process Technician, 1st shift, 8am-3pm, $20/hr BOE

Job Description:

1. Setting up and operating an Injection Molding machine
   • Can run a recipe saved in press
   • Can start a brand-new job from scratch
2. This position, under the direction of the Plant Manager, will assist in the set-up and running of the assigned production equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
3. Production Floor Duties:
   • Material Handler (prepare materials for processing, keep machines filled)
   • Regrind of excess materials in a timely manner
   • Set-up (Level 1)
     • Help move & load tools into machine
     • Setup production tooling and auxiliary equipment as required
     • Pack for the shipment of completed product
   • Tool/Mold Maintenance (wipe down tools & inspect)
   • Preventive Maintenance duties on molding machines and related equipment
   • Cleaning facility
   • Machine Operator (backup)
   • Pick-ups & deliveries
4. Office duties:
   • Clerical office work
   • Project assistance/ISO documentation
5. Shipping & Receiving:
   • General shipping & receiving duties
6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer knowledge preferred
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance
• Proof of US citizenship and drug screening required
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
• Experience in the industry a plus
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Manual dexterity
• Flexible work schedule
• Literate in reading and writing English
• Able to understand verbal or written directions
