Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide Level 1 at the Missouri Eastern Correctional Center in Farmington, MO. The role involves administering medications as prescribed and documenting effectiveness, side effects, and nurse notes.

Evening shifts, eight-hour shifts, with requirements for Level 1 certification or training completion. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Level 1 Medication Aide certification from DHSS/DMH preferred.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• Must complete continuing education to maintain certification (4 hours every 2 years).
• Must maintain TB documentation and CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as prescribed and documents effectiveness and any adverse actions or side effects.
• Takes part in required training and maintains security clearance where applicable.

Pay Ranges from $20-$23 per hour + shift diff, depending on years of experience!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide Level 1 to join our team at Missouri Eastern Correctional Center located in Farmington, Missouri.The Medication Aide Level 1 (MO) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.High school diploma or GED required.Preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).Insulin certification preferred.Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File.
