Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) at Moberly Correctional Center in Missouri. Under nursing supervision, you administer medications, document effectiveness, and monitor for adverse actions.

The role requires relevant certifications and the ability to pass background checks. Shifts are days, 3-12s (6:00am–6:30pm or 7:00am–7:30pm) with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active L1MA certification with insulin certification preferred or active CMT/CNA with insulin certification per Missouri registry.
• Must pass background investigation and obtain security clearance where applicable.
• CPR/AED certification and tuberculosis documentation must be current.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as prescribed under nursing supervision and documents effectiveness and adverse actions or side effects.
• Maintains current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
• Completes required continuing education (minimum 4 hours every 2 years) and keeps records in Employee File.
• Supports facility safety and security requirements and may participate in internal training as needed.

Pay Ranges from $20.00 - $23.00 per hour + shift diff, depending on years of experience!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to join our team at Moberly Correctional Center located in Moberly, Missouri.The Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.High school diploma or GED required.L1MA’s - preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification & Insulin certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).CMT’s – required to have current active status of Certified Medication Technician (CMT), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Insulin certification on the Missouri State Registry (mo.tmutest.com)Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File.
