Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide Level 1 support across multiple sites, troubleshoot issues, deploy and maintain devices, and support Microsoft 365 environments. You will maintain asset records and follow security policies in a fast-paced aerospace/defense setting.

The role reports to the Director of IT and involves onsite work in West Valley City, UT. A 1–3 year IT help desk background and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of IT help desk, desktop, or field support.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking: Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, VPN, DNS, DHCP, IP.
• Experience with ticketing systems and documentation.
• Strong customer service and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Triages, troubleshoots, resolves, and escalates incidents and requests; documents clearly.
• Images, configures, deploys, and troubleshoots endpoints and devices; handles provisioning.
• Provides Level 1 Microsoft 365 GCC High support (Meetings, email, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Onsite support for conference rooms, printers, AV, and network devices; basic connectivity troubleshooting.
• Maintains asset records for IT equipment and performs audits and disposal.
• Adheres to security policies and supports audits, CMMC, SOX, and data protection.
