Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Cedar City, UT to handle customer inquiries, process orders, and coordinate with production and shipping teams to ensure timely, accurate service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of customer service experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and excellent communication abilities. The role requires strict attention to detail and effective multitasking within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Adobe and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries and provides product and order information.
• Receives and processes customer orders, including webstore orders.
• Generates work orders and packing slips and delivers them to production.
• Coordinates with production and shipping teams to support order status and follow-up.
• Maintains logs of incoming orders and reports totals to designated personnel.
• Processes dealer applications to establish ordering and payment terms.
• Monitors and maintains marketing policies, price lists, and product updates related to purchasing and payment terms.
• Collaborates with accounting to determine order release status.
• Participates in mailings, initial contact packages, catalogs, press releases, and related correspondence.
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
