Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is hiring for a Full Time IT Help Desk Technician in West Valley City, UT. You will provide Level 1 support across sites and endpoints, deploy devices, support Microsoft 365, and maintain asset records to ensure secure, standardized technology services for our aerospace/defense environment.

The role requires 1–3 years IT help desk experience, knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365, and basic networking. You will work with a team reporting to the Director of IT.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years IT help desk or desktop support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking: Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN, DNS, DHCP, IP.
• Experience with ticketing systems and clear documentation.
• Strong customer service and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Triages, troubleshoots, resolves incidents and requests; documents clearly.
• Images, configures, deploys endpoints and devices; supports onboarding.
• Provides Level 1 GCC High collaboration support; MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint access.
• Delivers on-site support for conference rooms, AV, printers, and network devices; assists with onboarding.
• Maintains asset records; supports audits and reconciliation.
• Follows security policies; supports CMMC, SOX, audit readiness.
• Identifies phishing, malware and escalation; assists with compliance checks and evidence collection.
