Aaron Services is hiring a Level 1 HVAC Technician to join our growing team. The role focuses on performing residential HVAC maintenance visits and assisting with equipment installations, with room to take on more service, repair, and sales work as skills grow.

Starting pay is $21–$25 per hour with commission opportunities. We offer full-time hours, a path for advancement, and training to develop into a well-rounded HVAC service technician.

Qualifications

• Basic HVAC knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Understanding of common residential heating and cooling equipment.
• Ability to perform routine HVAC maintenance.
• Willingness to assist with equipment installations.
• Professional communication with homeowners and coworkers.
• EPA certification is required.
• HVAC trade school or related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential heating and cooling maintenance visits.
• Inspect HVAC equipment and identify potential problems or areas of concern.
• Complete routine maintenance and cleaning according to company standards.
• Document equipment condition and work performed; communicate professionally with homeowners.
• Assist experienced technicians with equipment replacements and installations.
• Help with removal of existing equipment, preparation, installation, startup and cleanup.
• Maintain accurate job notes using ServiceTitan.
• Maintain tools and a tidy work area.
• Participate in ongoing technical and sales training.
• Take on additional service, repair and sales opportunities as skills grow.

Level 1 HVAC Technician – $21–$25/Hour + Commission

Aaron Services: Plumbing, Heating, Cooling is hiring a Level 1 HVAC Technician to join our growing HVAC team.

This is a full-time position designed for a technician who has a foundation in HVAC and wants the opportunity to continue developing their skills. The primary responsibilities will be performing HVAC maintenance visits and assisting with equipment installations, with opportunities to take on additional service, repair, and sales work as your skills grow.

What You’ll Do

• Perform residential heating and cooling maintenance visits
• Inspect HVAC equipment and identify potential problems or areas of concern
• Complete routine maintenance and cleaning according to company standards
• Clearly document equipment condition and work performedCommunicate professionally with homeowners about their HVAC systems
• Assist experienced technicians with HVAC equipment replacements and installations
• Help with removal of existing equipment, preparation, installation, startup, and cleanup
• Maintain accurate job notes and documentation using ServiceTitan
• Maintain tools, equipment, and an organized work area
• Participate in ongoing technical and sales training
• Take on additional diagnostic, service, repair, and sales opportunities as your skills develop

Compensation

$21–$25 per hour, based on experience, plus commission opportunities

This position provides the stability of hourly pay while giving you opportunities to earn additional commission as you develop your ability to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and perform additional service work.

A Position You Can Grow Into

We don't expect a Level 1 technician to walk in knowing everything.

We're looking for someone who already has a basic HVAC foundation, takes their work seriously, and wants to become a well-rounded HVAC service technician.

You’ll start primarily with maintenance visits and installation assistance. As you demonstrate your ability to diagnose problems, communicate with customers, and complete work independently, you'll have opportunities to take on more service calls, repairs, sales opportunities, and responsibility.

The goal isn't to keep you at Level 1. It's to give you a path to become a stronger and more valuable HVAC technician.
