Job summary

True Group, Inc. is seeking a Level 1 Desktop Support Analyst in Lombard, IL to support client projects. You will respond to tickets, diagnose issues, and provide remote assistance to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires at least 1 year of desktop support experience, a IT-related degree or relevant experience, and the ability to learn quickly. On-site work in Lombard with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Desktop Support Analyst.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or relevant experience.
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.

Location: Lombard, IL
The Level 1 Desktop Support Analyst will join our growing team in Lombard to help support a variety of client projects.
Responsibilities:

• Respond to technical support tickets and assist in determining the nature of the technical issues, almost exclusively via remote access.
• Identify and assist in the resolution of hardware, software, and/or networking issues.
• Install new hardware systems, software upgrades, etc.
• Provide technical and/or operational training as needed.
• Document hardware configuration information, software configuration administration, network performance and network layouts.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience as a Desktop Support Analyst
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or relevant experience
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
• A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• LAN and WAN experience
• Network security experience a plus

The pay range for this position is $35,000 - $40,000 per year and is based on the specific expectations of the role, candidate experience, and overall fit.
