Job summary

Amazon Leo in Austin, Texas seeks an RF Systems 3GPP Integration Engineer to define a high-throughput wireless solution and lead bring-up, integration, and debugging of PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems for satellite communications.

You will architect 3GPP-based testing, coordinate with RF, ASIC, SW teams, and verify conformance, Doppler compensation, and lab validation using spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in L1/L2 or beamforming.
• Experience with RF lab equipment, bring-up, test and integration activities.
• Experience with verification and integration on FPGA.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.

Responsibilities

• Bring-up, integration, and debugging of advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems for satellite communications.
• Architect, document, and execute 3GPP-based testing for satellite-to-ground networks.
• Collaborate across PHY algorithms, RF design, digital beamforming, MAC, and firmware teams.
• Verify RF line-up and Doppler compensation techniques in lab environments.
• Develop bring-up procedures with Linux, Python, and bash scripting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high product quality.
