Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a Sr. PIT RF Communications System Payload Integration and Test Engineer to verify and validate the wireless system across baseband modems, RF transceivers, and phased-array antennas.

You will lead test bed development, define KPI metrics, and work with embedded, cloud, and mechanical teams to optimize performance. The role requires a strong background in RF design, testing, and satellite systems, plus scripting skills and experience with RF measurement equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with extensive RF/satellite experience.
• 5+ years in RF design, testing or verification with launched products.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot satellite payload testbeds to validate hardware and software builds.
• Define test plans, procedures, and KPI metrics for lab and RF chamber testing.
• Collaborate with embedded, cloud software, modem, mechanical, and compliance teams to validate system performance.
• Configure RF lab setups and analyze RF link budgets; interpret results and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document test results and communicate status to developers and leadership.
