Job summary

Indiana Members Credit Union is seeking a Call Center Loan Officer to process and close loan applications and solicit lending products for members. The ideal candidate excels in strong verbal communication and provides exceptional member service.

Responsibilities include interviewing members for loans by phone, email, or mail; evaluating creditworthiness; preparing closing documents; processing credit card applications; and cross-selling other credit union products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months of consumer lending experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Familiar with credit union core system and ancillary systems.
• Knowledge of consumer lending guidelines/policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Solicit lending products for members.
• Interview Members for Loans by Phone, Email, Mail, or Fax.
• Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits.
• Prepare all loan documents for closing.
• Process credit card applications.
• Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans.
• Cross Sell Other Credit Union Products.
• Assist with Member Service calls and questions as needed.
• Process Synapsis Queue Events, reports and other referrals.
• Other duties as assigned
